Secret Invocations of the Archaeons:

These Mighty Invocations are the Gift of the Devourer to His Chosen Contractors. All others who try to make use of them beware, for the very Archaeon invoked may come calling on unauthorized users…

1) Caco’s Soul Lock – 1st

Effect Create 1 Soul Gem

You ingest the soul of a sentient creature that has been dead for not more than 1 minute. This creates a gem: A Fine Sized object with 1hp and Hardness 2. Destroying the Gem frees the soul within, but doesn’t restore the being to life. Any attempt to resurect a being whose soul is so trapped must beat a DC of 10 + 1/2 Caster Level + Prime Modifier (Int, Wis, or Cha) to restore the being to life. Failure results in the failure of the ressurection spell, but success shatters the Gem and allows the ressurection to happen normally. If the Soul Gem is in a unholy location, the difficulty is increased by 2. The caster (as an Evil Act), or any Evil outsider may consume the Gem to gain fast healing 2 for a number of rounds equal to it’s HD – This consigns the soul to Abbadon: The Domain of the Devourer.

3) Hydro’s Glide – 2nd

You spit a small glob of inky black spittle that renders a target of any HD unconsious for 6 rounds. You must succeed on a ranged touch attack.

5) Leuko’s Breath of Flies – 4th

Effect Cone of Biting Insects does 8d6 Slashing Damage, the forms a cloud – 4d6 Slashing Damage.

Cone of Biting Insects does 8d6 Slashing Damage save for 1/2 damage; then forms a cloud 20’ in diameter centered on the caster – 4d6 Slashing Damage. Save for 1/2 Damage. The caster is immune to damage and distraction from her own Swarm, and the cloud persistes for d4 + 1 Rounds. It can be dispersed by any Area of Effect that does damage or creates winds of at least strong force.

6) Pisco’s Rending Claws – 4th

You gain the Razor-edged Crab-like Claws of a Pisco Archaeon. These deadly appendages strike using your level as your base attack bonus; and does 2d6 + STR damage with d8 Bleed damage. They have an 18 – 20 Critical with a x3 Damage Multiplyer. However you cannot use spells that require somantic components while this spell is in effect…

7) Mela’s Consumptive Aura – 5th

Effect 20’ Aura of d6 non-leathal damage/round and fatigue.
Duration 1 Round/ 2 Levels

You radiate a 20; Aura of Hunger causing the effects of famine to overtake your victims. All in range suffer d6 Non-Leathal Damage/ Round and suffer the Fatigued Condition (Cannot Run or Charge, and suffer a -2 to Strength and Dexterity until they get something to eat and rest for 8 Hours). Creatures that do not need to eat are immune to this effect!

8) Purro’s Weapon Steep – 5th

Effect Imbues one weapon with your powers giving it an additional +4 enhancement bonus
Duration 24 hours

You bathe a weapon in your own arcane energies, keeping it on your person for 24 hours, slowly charging it with your Power. After this time period the weapon takes on up to +4 in enhancement bonuses (Example: A Broadsword +2 of Wounding) that function only for you. This stacks with weapons already affected by an enhancement bonus, but may not improve the total enhancement beyond +10. The enhancement bonus is permenant, but only works for the caster, and the effect is lost instantly if the weapon is wielded by anyone else. This can only affect manufactured weapons, not natural weapons.

9) Dergho’s Feeblemind Aura – 6th

Saving Throw Will; Spell Resistance Yes
You project a 30’ Aura of Feeblemindedness. Those affected may make a new save when they leave the area of effect, and again every minute thereafter. If a creature succeeds on their save, they cannot be affected again by the current casting of this spell, but are affected normally by subsequent castings. Note that the effect CAN extend past the spell’s duration if the afflicted continue to fail their saves!
Target creature’s Intelligence and Charisma scores each drop to 1.
The affected creature is unable to use Intelligence- or Charismabased
skills, cast spells, understand language, or communicate
coherently. Still, it knows who its friends are and can follow them
and even protect them. The subject remains in this state until a
heal, limited wish, miracle, or wish spell is used to cancel the effect
of the feeblemind; or a successful save is made. A creature that can cast arcane spells, such as a
sorcerer or a wizard, takes a –4 penalty on its saving throw.

10) Astra’s Soul Siphon – 6th

Any time a creature dies within 10’ of you you gain +2 to Strength and d8 temporary hp for 10 Minutes. These Temporary hp stack; so if three creatures die, you gain 3d8 HP! Incorporeal Undead and Living Spirits take d8 Points of damage/ round!

11) Astra’s Soul Devour – 7th

Effect One Living Creature must Save or Die, granting a Profane Bonus to the user.
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw Fort; Spell Resistance Yes
Make a melee touch attack against a living creature. They must save or immediately DIE. You gain a +1 Bonus for every 5 HD of the Creature to Attacks, Saving Throws, and Checks for the next 24 Hours! This is an Evil Action.

12) Thana’s Soul Crush – 8th

You consume a Soul Gem harvested from a Caco Archaeon or created with Caco’s Soul Lock as an Evil Act. This Condemns the Trapped soul to Abbadon. You Gain Fast Healing 15 for 1 round/ level.

13) Olethro’s Dragon Slayer – 9th
